It’s about this time of year that many people begin to think about what they will be doing after the summer. Studying SBC’s BD in Theology and Pastoral Studies is a great option. It gives you a recognised qualification and the opportunity to move into many different areas of work. You can read about past student experience’s here. It can be a little daunting navigating the application process or thinking through some of the issues…so here’s a guide to where to start:
1. How do I get started?
You can find out the qualification requirements here at the bottom of the page. Not only do we take standard school qualification we can accommodate non-traditional entry qualifications applicants too so please do get in touch if you have any queries.
You might also want to consider funding and finance and information on loans, grants, and bursaries are all found here.
2. Come for a visit!
A good way to figure out if studying theology is for you is to come and visit the College in Paisley – we’re just 15 minutes from Glasgow by car or train and set within the University of the West of Scotland’s Paisley campus. We can arrange for you to meet staff members for an informal conversation without any pressure or commitment! Contact Graham on firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to start the conversation.
It’s not too difficult at all to apply – simply download the application form, fill it in, and return it to us. The form and the instructions are on the Applying and Fees page. If there’s any issue with finding or downloading the form or you need help completing it then please do get in touch with the College Bursar, Joyce Holloway.
We hope to hear from you soon!
