Starting in September 2026, we have three brilliant introductory classes which will help to connect theory to practice across a range of core subjects.

On Tuesdays we have our mission module which considers how the local church engages with the community around them through witnessing to the mission of God. It explores contemporary culture and the ways in which culture positively and negatively shapes missional practice. The class introduces basic missional practice for developing missional initiatives from the local church or within the local community.

Delivered on-campus and online via hybrid delivery between 10am and 1pm.

Living Justly in God’s World is delivered on a Wednesday and is our overview of ethics and doctrine. It is the module that tackles the big questions of the Christian faith and life. Why is there suffering? What does it mean to be created in the image of God? How do we faithfully engage with the big ethical issues of our day? It’s a fast moving module that helps us to navigate living out our faith in a complex world.

Delivered on-campus and online via hybrid delivery between 10am and 1pm.

On Thursdays we have one our core biblical modules, Encountering the New Testament. This popular class helps students to wrestle with the Bible and deepen their appreciation for the word of God. It covers basic questions of hermeneutics, interpretation, translation, and compilation of Scripture as well as giving an overview of the themes of the New Testament as a whole. For anyone looking for a place to start with a call to Christian service, this is the class for you!

Delivered on-campus between 10am and 1pm and online in the evenings between 7-9:30pm.
