This website does not allow comments or posts by members of the public therefore no data should be collected in this way. However we do have two contact forms – one for signing up to our mailing list and one for enquiring about studying at SBC.

Application Enquiry Form

In order to process your application we will be required to store and process the information for the following reasons.

We may use this information in a number of ways:

  • To determine the outcome of your application
  • To contact you with the next step of the application process
  • On successfully being accepted to the College, this information will be used to register you as a student and be stored as a student record.

In order to register you as a student we are required to share some of this information with our validating body – The University of the West of Scotland.

Outside of the application and registration process, the information will not be shared with 3rd parties and will not be used for any other purposes.

Information will be stored only for as long as it is necessary to process your application and registration (and afterwards as a student / alumni record).

Mailing List form

In order to send email communication to you data will be collected for the following reasons.

We may use this information in a number of ways:

  • To send you a monthly email update
  • To send you special announcement updates
  • To highlight events, courses, or other information that is relevant to the Scottish Baptist College

Outside of the email communication process, the information will not be shared with 3rd parties and will not be used for any other purposes.

Information will be stored only for as long as we send email communications and only with your on-going approval.

For email communications signed up for on this website, information will be stored for as long as we send email communications and only with your on-going approval.

As an applicant information will be stored only for as long as it is necessary to process your application and registration (and afterwards, if successful, as a student / alumni record).

What rights you have over your data

You can request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
