[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]SBC is passionate about the local church. All of our students and staff are involved in serving the local church where they are. One of our main aims is to be a resource to the local church – training leaders and church workers and providing a conduit for theological thinking. Then, of course, all of our prospective students are fed into the College from local churches and so we want to make sure those that want to study theology know about SBC.
So how can SBC be in a church near you soon?
- Do you have church notices on a PowerPoint? Download this SBC PowerPoint slide and add it into your loop. Alternatively if you have a newsletter could you insert these few lines?
Scottish Baptist College – BD in Theology and Pastoral Theology
Now taking applications for full time or part time study (or individual classes) starting in September 2016. You can find out more information on the SBC website – www.scottishbaptistcollege.org or by calling on 0141 848 3988. Alternatively come and visit for an informal conversation about studying at SBC and what we can offer you! - Would you like a member of staff or a student / student team to preach? We can’t always guarantee we will be able to send someone but as best as we can we can arrange to come to your church and take a service / preach. In doing that we can share a little about what the College is doing and some of the students’ stories – we’d like you to be able to think that the College is your College too. Contact Graham on graham.meiklejohn@uws.ac.uk
- If you’d like any publicity – posters, postcards, pens etc then please get in contact and we can send them out to you. We’d be happy to help you promote SBC through your church so please get in touch if there is any way we can help with that (again use graham.meiklejohn@uws.ac.uk)
