Our strapline reads “Discover Your Call; Nourish Your Faith; Reach Your Potential” which itself comes from our core values. Over the summer we’ll be exploring what that looks like through three events. All of them will involve getting to know the College and what we can offer but presented in different ways. Whether you’re a prospective student with questions or just interested in the work of the College, there will be a time to arrange a follow-up conversation and hopefully answer any questions that arise.
All events can be attended online or on-campus (via hybrid video conference) and you can register here: https://form.jotform.com/231423019809049

Taste and See – Nourish Your Faith
June 14th at 11am – What is the Mission of God?
A short taster class with a chance to ask questions about what it’s like to study at the College. The class will be interactive and last for about an hour with time afterwards to chat more about studying at SBC.

Student Journeys – Reach Your Potential
June 21st at 11am – Student “Showcase”
Hear from some of our upper level and graduate students about a topic they’ve become passionate about through their studies at SBC. Through conversation each student will explore the connection between what they’ve learned and how it has formed their understaning of God and, in turn, the ways in which that has shaped their practice. Topics include youth ministry and the priority of relationships; reconciliation and loving our enemies; chaplaincy and the need for personal rituals in places of grief.

Next Steps – Discover Your Call
June 28th at 2pm – Panel discussion
Our Principal and Assistant Principal will draw on theor own experiences of ministry and spiritual formation to discuss how to discern your call and perhaps, more importantly, what to do next with it. They will talk about the role of the College in formation for ministry and mission and take questions about next steps in stepping into your call.
