Sermon on the Mount is an interdisciplinary module that looks at ethics, Scripture, and doctrine to consider the radical challenge of this well-known Scripture. The module will run on Tuesday daytime as a hybrid class with online students joining via Zoom. This is an ideal class for anyone who is ready to be challenged to think a little deeper about what it means to be living in Christ’s upside down Kingdom.

Rev. Dr. Marion Carson will draw on her experience as a Chaplain at Glasgow City Mission as well as publications on mental health to lead this module looking at our own spiritual well-being. Running on Wednesday daytimes as a hybrid class with online students joining via Zoom, these classes draw on ancient and modern practices of spiritual formation to help students gain an understanding of spiritual development and maturity.
Theological Approaches to Contemporary issues will take place on a Thursday daytime as a hybrid class with online students joining via Zoom. The class is multi-layered beginning by considering what we think theology is doing in the world we live in. Building upon this exploration, the class looks at how Christians and churches might respond to social issues and how that might vary depending on our approach to theology. A fast-paced, challenging module that will raise more questions than it answers!
