Beginning late in January 2026 we have three intro classes that are perfect for modular study as a standalone learning experience or as a way to begin and access further degree studies. First classes will be held in the week of January 26th and term ends in early May. Led by Rev Dr Ian Birch this module covers the theology and history of worship to help us understand why we do what we do in the way we do! It’s not simply a how-to but more a module that helps to increase knowledge of worship to think about different ways of thinking and approaching worship.
Thursdays – on-campus 10am-1pm; or online 7-9:30pm
The Practice of Pastoral Care led by Rev Dr Steve Younger explores theory and practical learning covering topics like listening skills and handling difficult conversations; alongside thematic learning on grief and bereavement, mental health, and marriage and families.


Tuesdays – online only 7-9:30pm
This module taught by Rev Dr Paul Beautyman considers how to understand the value-based framework of detached youth and community work that can be adapted and utilised for effective ministry.
