Join us at SBC for a College Community Seminars. On Wednesday October 23rd between 1:30pm and 3:00pm, we’ll be hosting Graeme McMeekin – Acting Scotland Director for Tearfund. Graeme has a background in theological education, as well as” on the ground” experience through working for Tearfund and so we look forward to what he has to share with us.

Graeme has a wide range of experience to call upon to inform his ideas in this area having lectured with ICC (and then NTC Glasgow) and held posts in community work and youth justice prior to his time at Tearfund. More recently, Graeme has been visiting some of Tearfund’s projects, specifically their partner projects in Rwanda. This seminar will take a reflective look at some of the issues facing global missions and how Christians can respond to matters of social justice.

We’re really excited to be have Graeme join us for this afternoon seminar and we hope that you will join us. These seminars are open to alumni, friends, and supporters of the College, as well as the wider public who feel they would benefit from engaging with the topic. We do hope you’ll join us.
