SUMMARY:On-Campus Open Day - Thursday November 7th 2024
DESCRIPTION:On Thursday November 7th we’re hosting an On-Campus Open Day ideal for 6th year students / school leavers looking at University choices for September 2025 or anyone thinking about joining us in January for any of our courses or modules. This is an opportunity to explore what it’s like to study at SBC and experience a day in the life of the College\, meeting current students and staff and hear from recently graduated students. \nWhether you’re thinking about full-time\, part-time\, or modular study…or just interested to see what we do…come along and join us on the Open Day on Thursday November 7th. We begin at 10:30am start with a brief tour of the UWS campus followed by coffee and devotions with students and staff. There will be an info session with a time for Q&A\, followed by lunch (let us know if you have any dietary requirements). SUMMARY:130th Anniversary Celebration
DESCRIPTION:The 2024-2025 Academic year sees the College reach it’s 130th anniversary. For the past 130 we’ve served the churches of Scotland (and beyond) by training Baptist ministers and those called to Christian service across a broad range of ministries. We’ll be celebrating this milestone on Friday November 15th at 5pm with an informal tea and scone reception at Queens Park Baptist Church. The event will be before the BUS National Prayer Gathering (and the same weekend as the BUS Autumn Gathering) taking place at the same venue – but you don’t need to be going to that event to come along for the 130th celebration!\n\nSo whether you’ve recently been with us or it’s been a while\, we invite students\, alumni\, and any friends and supporters to join to hear memories of the College and current developments as we celebrate 130 years of the College community.\n\nFor more information email scottishbaptistcollege@uws.ac.uk
