SUMMARY:SBC Seminar - Eco-Congregations
DESCRIPTION:Join us on the afternoon of March 26th for a hybrid seminar in partnership with Eco-Congregations Scotland. \nEco-Congregation Scotland is a movement of Scottish church congregations\, of all denominations and none\, committed to addressing environmental issues through their life and mission. It was founded in 2001 and became a registered charity in 2010. \nIn this interactive event\, Eco-congregation Chaplain\, Rev David Coleman\, will explore three areas of interest. First\, he will explore what is involved in being an eco-congregation before looking at how we can read Scripture through the lens of creation before linking this with our we can express creation through worship. Each section will have a short time for discussion and questions and answers. \nTo make this as accessible as possible you can join us on-campus in Paisley or online via Zoom and we look forward to having you join with us! \nOpen to all friends and interested parties but please book a (free) ticket through Eventbrite.
