SUMMARY:On-campus Open Day - Tuesday April 21st 2026
DESCRIPTION:On Tuesday April 21st\, we’re hosting an On-campus Open Day for anyone thinking of study beginning in September 2026. While September 2026 may seem far away\, this Open Day is an ideal opportunity to explore what it’s like to study at SBC and ask questions about funding\, classes\, timetables and more! It’s the last On-campus Open Day that we can hold during term time so it’s the last opportunity before September to experience a day in the life of the College and to share in the rhythms of College life – an opportunity you don’t want to miss! \nWhether you’re thinking about full-time\, part-time\, or modular study…or just interested to see what we do…come along and join us on the Open Day on Tuesday April 21st.We’ll talk a little bit about the ethos of the College and the pragmatics of studying before leaving time for questions specific to your own circumstances. SUMMARY:Commissioning Service 2026
DESCRIPTION:Join us on Thursday April 30th when we will be holding our end of year Commissioning Service\, celebrating all that has happened over the past academic year and commissioning the students that will be leaving us over the summer onto their next chapter. After our service\, you are invited to join us for lunch and extend the time of celebration. \nThe venue is Paisley Baptist Church which is located on Lady Lane in Paisley. We will be starting as close to 1pm as possible\, after we finish classes\, though don’t be surprised if it is closer to 1:15pm! The service should finish by 2/2:15pm and lunch is a relaxed time afterwards so come and go as you please at this point! \nThe venue is about 10-15min walk away from both Paisley Canal Street and Gilmour Street train stations. There is on-street parking around Paisley Baptist but there is a charge and payment is via the Ringo app. There is a multi-storey car park about a 5-10min walk away on Storie Street (again charges apply). \nFor catering and planning purposes it would be helpful if you could register here and let us know you are coming along! \nAny further questions\, please email Ellie Bell on ellie.bell@uws.ac.uk
