Assistant Principal and Lecturer in Practical Theology

Born in Lithuania, Lina joined the College in June 2014, having relocated from the International Baptist Theological Seminary in Prague where she had served as a Course Leader, Lecturer and later as Pro-Rector and Academic Dean.

Rev. Dr John Drane

Lecturer in Christian Mission

John Drane has spent much of his adult life wrestling with the challenge of being a Christian in a rapidly changing culture, and has written many books on missional topics, including The McDonaldization of the Church, Do Christians know how to be Spiritual? and After McDonaldization: Mission, Ministry & Christian discipleship in an age of uncertainty.

Rev. Dr Carol Campbell

Chaplain / Lecturer in Pastoral Care and Chaplaincy

Carol’s professional background began as a Registered Nurse working initially in an Intensive Care Unit and then in Care of the Elderly. She gained a Certificate in Counselling and worked as a Volunteer Counsellor dealing with issues, among others, of bereavement, relationship and addiction.

Rev Dr Alasdair Black

Lecturer

Born in Glasgow, Alasdair Black has been the senior pastor of Stirling Baptist Church for almost twenty years. Before taking up his pastorate in Stirling he served as the pastor of Cuffley Free Church in Hertfordshire and worked in Los Angeles and Amsterdam in urban mission.

Born in Glasgow, Gus is a solicitor and notary public. For over ten years, Gus has also been the minister of a Baptist church, and therefore is a bivocational pastor

Dr Marion Carson

Lecturer

Marion Carson was born in Ayrshire, and lives in Glasgow with her husband, Douglas. She worked as a psychiatric nurse for several years, before gaining a PhD in Biblical Studies from the University of Glasgow.
