Rev Gus Macaulay

Born in Glasgow, Gus studied law at Glasgow University with an honours degree in medical law and ethics. After gaining post-graduate qualifications in law, he qualified as a solicitor and notary public. Until recently, Gus had been working as a lawyer, specialising in court work, civil advocacy and litigation.

Gus studied theology at International Christian College in Glasgow and, after his bachelors degree, he was then awarded a masters degree in biblical interpretation. For over ten years, Gus has also been the minister of a Baptist church in Glasgow. Gus has taught ethics, and also leadership from a bivocational perspective. Gus also has an interest in hermeneutics and a theology of work.

Gus is married to Karen, a physiotherapist, and they have three children. On the occasions when Gus has spare time, he loves to swim.
