Dr Marion Carson

Lecturer

Marion Carson was born in Ayrshire, and lives in Glasgow with her husband, Douglas. She worked as a psychiatric nurse for several years, before gaining a PhD in Biblical Studies from the University of Glasgow. She is an ordained Baptist chaplain, and is Secretary of the European Baptist Federation Anti-trafficking Network. She was previously Lecturer in New Testament and Pastoral Care at International Christian College, Glasgow. Her research interest is in the use of the Bible in pastoral practice, especially in the areas of mental health and pastoral care.
