Join us at SBC for our regular College Community Seminars as a specialist in the field gives a theological insight into their specific area of interest. On Wednesday 30th November between 1:30pm and 3pm, Dr. Marion Carson will be sharing about ‘The Church and Mental Health.’ This seminar will no doubt be a beneficial seminar to help equip those who find themselves leading churches or involved in any capacity of Christian leadership.

Dr Marion Carson is a visiting lecturer at Scottish Baptist College and a long-time friend of the College. We have always appreciated her input teaching on several of our Biblical Studies classes. Marion has several interests outside of Biblical studies, most notably writing Setting Captives Free – a book on slavery and the bible. With a background in nursing Marion has also developed an interest in how the Church deals with Mental Health.

These seminars are open to alumni, friends, and supporters of the College, as well as the wider public who feel they would benefit from engaging with the topic. For further information please contact Graham Meiklejohn ongraham.meiklejohn@uws.ac.uk
