Join us at SBC for our regular College Community Seminars as a specialist in the field gives a theological insight into their specific area of interest. On Wednesday 28th September between 1:30pm and 3pm, Naomi McGookin will be sharing about ‘Pastoral care for women who have experienced sexual assault.’ This seminar will no doubt touch on many difficult areas but we hope that it will be a beneficial seminar to help equip those who find themselves leading churches or involved in any capacity of Christian leadership.

Naomi has studied Theology at Glasgow University and holds a PGCert in Counselling and Interpersonal Skills from the University of Strathclyde. She is also currently studying for a Masters of Science in Social Work.

These seminars are open to alumni, friends, and supporters of the College, as well as the wider public who feel they would benefit from engaging with the topic. For further information please contact Graham Meiklejohn on graham.meiklejohn@uws.ac.uk
